I heartily recommend Robert's car rental service.  Robert was very prompt responding to my inquiries, his English was equal to the task of making all arrangements,  and the car and driver he provided exceeded our expectations.  Basically, we wanted an air-conditioned car that would take us exactly where we wanted to go--picking us up promptly, waiting for us, and transporting us according to our wishes.  The clean, polite driver Robert arranged for us met us at our tiny hutong hotel right on time, and the drive to the Great Wall was cool and comfortable.  We stayed as long as we wished, and then, at our request, the driver took us to a fish restaurant for lunch.  Finally, he took us directly to our hotel.  We did NOT want a guided tour, or unscheduled stops at "artisan workshops", and we found Robert's car/driver rental service to be an economical, comfortable, and QUIET alternative.

totally agree with the post above, we have booked for this Sunday and so far it was very professionally handled.  Will update here after this Sunday trip.

Our Sunday trip to Jinshanglin Great Wall was perfect, our van was upgraded from Jinbei a china brand to a Mercedes Van at no extra cost.  Driver was on time and polite and we had time to drop by National Stadium before heading back to the hotel.  We are now considering to get their service to take us to Inner Mongolia. will post update if all goes well.

This is a great service! The driver who greeted me was very polite and courteous, and the whole transaction was very efficient. Overall, it was a very satisfactory experience and I would highly recommend Robert's car rental.

went on a 5 days road trip with driver Lee from Beijing to Datong, Hohhot, Grassland, Baotou and back to Beijing. all went well except if there was a GPS in the car it would have save up lots of time asking around for direction and getting lost :) add me in fb if you want to see the places billydyone@gmail.com

Both Rose & Benny are very nice and friendly , and their driving attitude are also very professional.  I will sure introduce your service to our friends if they need to hire a car in Beijing in the future.

First i was surprised with how fast Robert respond my query regarding renting a van for trip to badaling, he was respond with complete proposal, trip plan, picture of the car within an hour (it was 10:30 PM). same respond i received whenever i have question.
The whole family (3 adult and 3 small children including my 6 months baby) enjoying the trip to Badaling Great Wall, the Van was convenient, the driver was polite and driving carefully. Despite long trip for the children, they enjoy the ride, great view, and the adventure.
After climbing out the great wall, the original plan was to go to Ming Tombs, but the children feel bored with historical site, so i decide to change the plan. I called Robert and he giving us good suggestion and coordinate with driver.
We were continue to Badaling Safari World, which just located nearby. It's more convenient to take the car inside (even we have to pay for driver and car ticket) rather than using the bus provided by the park. 
We can stop and enjoy observing the animal as how we want it. Kids enjoy finding animals around the car, they feed bears, deer, giraffe, stop by the park to ride horse and camel, and having fun on feeding the rabbits. It was great saturday trip for the whole family. 

I was impressed at how Robert handled my inquiries with urgency.  He coordinated with his drivers well.  And he helped me arranged for our meals.  Without him, I would have been lost in Beijing.

The Great Wall trip was excellent.  Thanks so much for all your help.  The minivan was new and clean as promised.   The driver was great and knew exactly where he was going.  Robert did an amazing job in coordinating everything, I was always surprised how quickly he responded to my emails.  I was also very impressed with his knowledge the various hiking options and how he worked with me to customize the trip. 

Robert is very handy and excellent in arranging my big family tour to Beijing this time. Minivan and driver Mr Lee are awesome as well. Recommended to anyone who is looking for a free and easy tour with comfy transportation in Beijing.
